In alignment with India’s vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047, FHLE is committed to transforming the healthcare landscape in the country by addressing the disparities in health access, quality, and outcomes, particularly in underserved regions. We work with a vision to create a healthier nation where every individual, regardless of their socio-economic background, can access timely, affordable, and quality healthcare services. As part of our initiatives, we aim to bridge the healthcare gap in rural areas and empower individuals with the knowledge to take charge of their health. In this context, a Viksit Bharat is not just one with better infrastructure but a nation where health equity and accessibility are fundamental rights for all citizens.
Our primary interventions include organizing health camps in remote and underserved areas, where healthcare infrastructure is limited. These camps provide essential services such as medical consultations, diagnostic services, vaccinations, maternal and child health support, and awareness programs for chronic diseases. We also focus on strengthening public health infrastructure, especially in rural and tribal areas, by training local healthcare workers in critical health areas like leprosy, lymphatic filariasis, tuberculosis, and mental health. By empowering these local health workers, we contribute directly to the realization of a Viksit Bharat that has a robust and accessible healthcare system for all.
