Jyotasana Apoorva, CEO of the Foundation for Health and Learning Empowerment (FHLE), participated in the prestigious City Champions event held in New Delhi. The event, organized by Josh Talks and supported by Omidyar Network India, brought together changemakers and leaders committed to shaping the future of urban communities.

Also present at the event was Supriya Paul, Co-Founder and CEO of Josh Talks, whose platform is known for empowering individuals and organizations through storytelling and mentorship. The City Champions initiative aims to mentor and support organizations focused on creating innovative solutions for the future of cities, empowering them to foster sustainable urban development.

At FHLE, the mission has always been clear: to advance health, education, and livelihoods in underserved communities, with a focus on creating inclusive, sustainable environments. Apoorva’s participation in this event strengthens FHLE’s commitment to building urban communities that thrive on innovation, leadership, and impactful solutions.

“This event aligns perfectly with our vision at FHLE. We are focused on advancing health, education, and livelihoods to foster stronger and more inclusive urban spaces. Collaborating with like-minded organizations through platforms like City Champions is an exciting opportunity to learn, innovate, and push the boundaries of what we can achieve together,” said Jyotasana Apoorva.

With urbanization rapidly increasing across India, it’s more important than ever to build cities that can meet the challenges of tomorrow.
